This is a brilliant feature if your quandary surrounding whether to scrap or sell is because of your affinity for a weapon, and how best to utilize it after you’re done using it. When you’re at a workbench, not only can you upgrade your weapon with mods and perks, but you can also make a weapon ‘match level’ with you, meaning you can upgrade its damage output to be on par with your current level.
